Am I sharing too much information on social media?

Online safety is more important now than it has ever been. Here are a few tips that you should keep in mind when using social media (whether you know the people you are interacting with or not):

• Don’t share personal information like your address, phone number or family details

• Don’t send pictures of your private parts (this is especially risky if you are a teenager)

• Don’t bully (cyberbullying is very hurtful and can cause lasting damage)

• If you are being bullied, tell an adult and/or report it
