Is it normal for your period to be late after stopping birth control?

It certainly can be normal. It may take your body a month or two to re-establish normal hormone signaling. It also depends on the type of birth control you were using. Depo especially may have effects that last longer than a couple of months. If you’re still waiting on a period after 4 months it’s worth talking with a doctor to get things going again.
