Can you give herpes to someone if you have a cut in your mouth from brushing your teeth?

This is not the typical transmission of herpes. Herpes lives on the skin so transmission is going to be from skin-to-skin contact. If you have an active outbreak the chance of passing on herpes is pretty high, but even without an outbreak there is a small chance that you can pass it on by just kissing. But it’s more related to skin-on-skin touching, not blood.
